Authoring

I managed to recover the files I needed yesterday without finding my backup disc.  This is fortunate, because they were files I needed for the Secret of Crystania DVDs.  That’s right, after a year of incubation, I think I’m ready to finish it up.  Pretty much all the DVD authoring work is complete, but there are a few changes I’d like to make to the video and audio of the actual movie before finalizing it.  It would help a lot if Zach was in Platteville, but he is currently back in the homeland looking for (or perhaps finding at this point) summer work.

My goal is to have the DVD itself finished by the 4th of July.  I don’t know if I’m going to do anything with packaging.

What about the music video for the final song? We haven’t taped that yet. I’ll have my production crew give you a call.

Hmmm… also, the credits need to be resized to fit on the TV screen. Currently the edge are cut off. If they were shrunk 80% or 75% they’d probably fit.

I’ve had an idea for the box art, so i should probably flush that out. Nothing too fancy.

w00t, Secret of Crystania release! I’d say there should be a release party, but that’d mean I’d have to throw it and invent some sort of drinking game where everyone takes a drink everytime “THE SECRET” is mentioned. I dunno, that sounds like a lot of work.
