I give up, ICQ.  I’m moving to the Trillian client.
Honestly, I’m impressed.  Trillian has really come a long way over the past few years.
It seems that Trillian’s implementation of ICQ doesn’t support ICQ/AIM cross-messaging, so I created an AIM account called “convexmacrolabs”, and I’ll be re-adding my AIM contacts to that account.

Just as I was about to go to bed, I received an e-mail I’ve been anticipating for months: my invitation to enroll for graduate classes for next semester.  My enrollment appointment is July 9th, so I’ll have two weeks to ponder and ask advice about the classes I’ll take my first semester.  Whee.

I’m experiencing strange issues with ICQ today.  I received messages from Jim and Patty.  When I went to respond, they had been removed from my contact list.  When I tried to add them back, it didn’t work.  Maybe it’s time to switch to Gaim/Trillian.  But I’ve been an ICQ user for nearly 10 years now, [...]
